The Alpha Gal started as a joke about a diagnosis that makes eating out feel like all you can eat is chicken.
Around here, we cope with the diagnosis with a little humor, a lot of label reading and, well, a very opinionated chicken.
The Alpha Gal may not be a real pub, but the merch is real, the recipes are good, and Alpha-Gal Syndrome deserves a whole lot more attention than it gets.
